In Celebration, core and elective classes are held Monday through Wednesday from 6 – 9pm in the Spring and Fall semesters and 6 – 9:45pm in the Summer semester. Each MBA class meets once per week and the number of nights you attend class will vary depending on your individual scheduling needs.
The Master of Business Administration curriculum is divided into two broad areas: the pre-requisite, business foundation and the advanced, MBA level courses. Many applicants do not need foundation coursework and may begin advanced work immediately. If you are one of these applicants, you can complete the MBA in as little as one year in DeLand and in as little as 15 months in Celebration. If you do require foundation coursework, you should be able to complete the Stetson MBA in approximately two years.
We will review your official transcripts from the institution where you received your Bachelor’s degree to determine what foundation courses, if any, you must complete before advanced work may be attempted. Foundation coursework is usually required if your undergraduate degree is not in business or a grade lower than a “C” was received in a required foundation course.
In addition, some colleges and universities do not require all of our foundation courses within their undergraduate business degree programs and you may need to take a few foundation courses to supplement your Bachelor’s degree. At any point during the application process, we can offer you a preliminary evaluation of your transcripts (unofficial is acceptable for this preliminary evaluation) to determine if foundation coursework will be required.
