MBA Program Admissions Procedure - International Students

Applications are accepted for entry into any semester – Fall (August), Spring (January) or Summer (May) – with a deadline of 90 days prior to the start of a semester for international applicants. Late applications will be accepted as time permits. Applications from international applicants submitted within 60 days prior to the start of a semester will automatically be deferred to the next semester. All required application materials must be received by the deadline.
International students must follow the procedure for admission into the program of his/her interest in addition to fulfilling additional requirements:
International students must submit the International Students’ Medical Statement in place of the traditional Medical Statement.

Another form will be provided to you upon admission that must submitted to Stetson’s Health Services department.
• Admission decisions will not be made until all required application materials are received. Conditional admissions will not be granted.
• All transcripts must be evaluated by either World Education Services or Josef Silny. If the transcript is in a language other than English, it must also be translated.
• All applications whose native language is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and submit a combined score of 550 or better (new scoring of 213 or better) or the Internet based test scoring of 80 or better.
• After an international student is formally admitted into Stetson University's School of Business Administration, the Center for International Education will assist him/her in obtaining a student visa. To issue the U.S. Immigration Form I-20 "Certificate of Eligibility", the Center for International Education must have documentation showing that the admitted student has funds to pay for the first year at Stetson University. A letter from the student's (or student's parent's) bank manager on official bank letterhead, or a recent bank statement will suffice.

The student should keep a copy of this financial documentation as he/she will need to present it at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate as part of the visa application procedure.
